Each row further down is one OFAC action day. The title is Treasury's own, the programme tags are derived from it, and the link goes to the Recent Actions page for that date, which carries the full text and the underlying documents.

One notice can name several programmes, so the rows add up to more than 41. 5 notices carry no programme tag, such as settlements, guidance and list maintenance. Tags come from the words in each title, so a programme OFAC does not name in its title is not counted.
How to read an OFAC action title
OFAC titles use a small, consistent vocabulary. The words that matter:
- Designations
- Names added to a list, so the programme's restrictions attach to them. See how designations work.
- Designations Updates
- Changes to entries that are already listed, such as a new alias or identifier. Read the notice for what changed.
- Designations Removals
- Names taken off a list. Delisting is the petition process behind many of them.
- Issuance of a General License
- Authorisation for a category of activity that would otherwise be prohibited, often a wind-down window. See general licences.
- Publication of a Determination, FAQ or Guide
- Legal or interpretive material rather than a listing. No new party becomes restricted.
- Settlement Agreement
- An enforcement action against a company, covered in the case database.
The programme name in a title ("Iran-related", "Counter Terrorism") is OFAC's own label for the legal authority used, not a statement about where a party is located.
Where to find the names
The feed below holds titles only. A notice lists the entries added or changed, and the SDN List files carry them as structured records with aliases, addresses and identifiers. The SDN list page explains the formats and how often they change, and screening covers how institutions match counterparties against them. Ownership matters too: an entity can be blocked without being named, under the 50 percent rule.
Why the date of a designation matters
A designation is dated, and the date is the line between a lawful dealing and a violation. Several cases on this site turn on it:
- ExxonMobil signed eight documents with Rosneft's chief executive after his designation, though a court later vacated the penalty.
- Gracetown accepted 24 payments on behalf of a company owned by Oleg Deripaska after he was designated.
- Citibank's London branch processed £4.3m within 24 hours of a designation.
- GVA Capital kept managing an investment for Suleiman Kerimov after his designation.

How often does OFAC add or remove names?
In the 90 days to 2026-10-27, OFAC published 41 Recent Actions notices. This site classes 17 as designations, 12 as removals, 6 as general licences and 4 as enforcement actions, by the first matching phrase in each title.
Does this page list who was designated?
No. It records the title, date and programme of each notice, not the names in it. The names are in the notice itself and in the SDN List files, which are what anyone screening against sanctions must use.
What does a designation do?
Restrictions attach from the moment of publication: property is blocked, dealings are prohibited, and institutions holding relevant property must report it. A wind-down general licence sometimes allows existing business to end in an orderly way.
